I couldn’t be happier with the decision. The material feels incredibly sturdy and durable, and knowing that it's made from 99.6% pure titanium with antibacterial properties gives me peace of mind while preparing food. I love how the cutting board has a designated side for fruits and vegetables, and a separate side for meats – it helps avoid any cross-contamination, which is such a clever design. Light weight and takes up very little space in the cupboard. Much easier to clean than my old wooden board, so therefore much more hygienic. Wouldn’t be without it. Very pleased with my purchase.
easy clean and no plastic which could be injested
I have been using this chopping board for sometime and What I love most is how hygienic and easy to clean it is. Unlike wood/plastic it doesn’t absorb odours or liquids, and a quick rinse is all it takes to make it spotless. It’s also scratch and heat resistant
I splashed out on one of these because of the problem with microplastics on my existing boards. The knives do mark it to a degree but l am not too concerned as l would expect that due to the titanium being softer than the steel of my knives. It does mean that my knives stay sharp for quite a while. Its thin, lightweight and easy to store. The frosted pattern does disguise the marks to some extent and l feel it is better that the old style plastic or wood. The downside - It can be noisy when chopping.
This chopping board immediately feels different from the usual wood or plastic ones. It has a solid, smooth surface that doesn’t hold on to food smells, and it wipes clean with almost no effort. I really like the double-sided design with clear icons so I can separate raw meat from vegetables without worrying about cross-contamination. Cutting on it feels precise, and it doesn’t mark easily, which makes it look fresh even after a lot of use. I’ve put it through the dishwasher a few times and it comes out spotless, saving the hassle of scrubbing. The lightweight build is another plus, as it slips easily into a cupboard or can be taken along for camping trips. Knowing it’s antibacterial by nature adds a bit of peace of mind, especially when preparing meals for the kids. For anyone who cooks regularly and wants something long-lasting and hygienic, this has been a very worthwhile upgrade.
